Kitties

Good Morning!

Sorry I haven't posted lately but I have been super busy with these gals.

That's right! We are fostering kittens!!! YAY! There are actually 3 kittens in these two photos. Nala (white nose) and Maggie (Black face) are in the top left photo. Maggie and Eleanor (White nose also) are both in the right photo.

These girls are beyond cute. They are still super scared and shy but are warming up quick! Nala and Eleanor have a cold right now but are getting medicine soon and are going to recover quickly. As for Maggie, well lets just say she makes up for the other two's lack of energy... by a lot. She is bouncing off the walls all day and all last night too!

Maggie is super sweet and loves to play! She is so adorable you just want to cuddle her and squeeze her! She is still very shy but is warming up to us fast! She is the runt of the litter.

Nala is pretty sick right now but we are getting her medication today. She is tired right now but when she isn't tired she is very outgoing and courageous. She is the biggest of the three and is skinny but very tall.

Eleanor Louise was named by my older sister. I don't like the name but it suits her. She is very proper and doesn't play very much. She caught the cold also and is feeling down but once we get medicine she will be back to her feisty self!

I hope you all enjoyed my kittens! Fostering is very easy and they supply you with all the needs so if you can go foster an animal!

Does it bother you?

Good Morning!!!

Does it bother anyone else when they see 11 or 12 year olds, yes, 6TH GRADERS, walking around the mall in full blown makeup, Iphone, and boyfriend??? It bothers me a lot! Hon, you can't even drive yet, your parents drive you to the movies and you sit and, as you call it "make out". Do you even know what that word means? What parent is okay with letting their 12 year old kiss a boy???

When I was starting 6th grade I was into those rubber bands that were shapes of animals or items.  I wanted to be a doctor and carried a mini first aid kit with me wherever I went. Can we just stop and think about that???

My little sister is going into her 8th grade year. She told me this morning that there are very few people in her grade who are not inappropriate, who do not curse, and who do not wear tons of make up and like to "make out". WHAT HAS THIS COME TO!!! YOU ARE 11 OR 12 YEARS OLD NOT 21!!!!

Do these kids even know what love is? Nope!
Do they understand that going to the movies is not a date? You sit there in the dark for 2 hours and don't talk??? Nope!

Love and dating is something that is very fragile in life. Your heart will be broken, and you will want to just date someone because you think they are nice looking, and then you realize that they are jerks. But here lays the problem. Love comes in time. Dating takes awhile, not a few weeks. These 6th graders want to grow up too fast. I mean sure, I want to grow up too... but I know that I should treasure ,y time in high school, because I will want it back soon enough. I have not had a boyfriend, nor have I kissed anyone. I have not been in love. I am fine with that. Sure, there are those days that I wish I had someone's shoulder to cry into... but then I realize: I have my best friends Emily, Tess, and Naomi, I have two amazing sisters, and I have my parents! Who needs a boyfriend!!!

So, if you agree with me, that the young kids are trying to grow up too fast, or they are annoying the crap out of you because they claim they "made out with someone last night", comment below and make a change! The next time you see a middle schooler with too much makeup and not enough self esteem or childhood tell them! Walk up to them and tell them to cherish their childhood and go have fun playing with bubbles and silly string!!!

That's all for now!

Top 5 Lip Glosses

We all have our favorite lip glosses for everyday use. I always use a lip gloss to keep my lips nice and smooth, without the sometimes chalky look of lip sticks. My top 5 favorite of all time lip glosses/balms are all cheap, easy to apply, and leave your lips looking better then ever!!! I am going to rank the lip glosses by how much I love it as a product :) Here we go!!!!!!!

Starting on #5 counting down to how much I love this lip gloss as a product.

5) Charlotte Ronson Lip Gloss in SOPHIA. I love this product, but sometimes the coral color can be a little much.  I still love this product as it it so shiny :) Another downside is that the color does not stay for long on your lips, so you have to be constantly reapplying it.
4) Charlotte Ronson Lip Gloss in SAMANTHA. Again, great product. I like this shimmery light pink better than the coral only because it is more practical than the gorgeous coral color. :)
3) The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm. I like this so much because it is so moisturizing and stays on for hours. The downside it that you have to use your finger to get the balm onto our lips, which I always find messy.
2) ELF Lip Gloss in Marc. An almost pink plummy color this gloss is drop dead gorgeous!I absolutely adore this lip gloss. The only reason that it is #2 is that it can be a little dark to wear sometimes :)
1) Maybelline baby lips. This is the peachy color is perfect for everyday use and it goes on so smoothly that it really does feel like you have baby lips!

I highly recommend all of these products to you!!!

P.S. I will be posting every 2-3 days now instead of daily :)

Beauty

Good Morning!

I just wanted to apologize if anything that I said in my last post offended you.

Beauty to me is not whether or not you wear a lot of makeup. Yes, I personally do not wear lots of it, but if you do I will not make fun of you or say you are not a beautiful. A person is beautiful no matter what they wear. You hear this so many times, that beauty is on the inside. How many people believe that???

Honestly. A guy is going to like you for your looks at first, but eventually what is inside matters. That is just it. Guys are flawed, just like girls are. If we do not think that we are pretty than what guy is going to think that we are drop dead gorgeous?

EVERYONE is beautiful in their own way. I talked to guys about this. They said that they are more attracted to girls if confident in themselves first.

ANYWAY. I wanted to apologize if anything I said in my last post offended or hurt you, because that is my opinion. My personal opinion on makeup, and you do not have to have that opinion at all.

Natural

Good Morning!

Every morning when I get up I think about all the girls who go through hours of getting ready and putting makeup on. Those girls hide themselves in makeup and perfumes. No one knows the REAL them. When I wake up I wash my face and do 2 things. The only products that I use on a daily basis are 1) Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion and 2) Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed powder.

I use thee two products because they soften my skin, and because the powder gives anyone more of an air brushed look.

I am not against makeup at all. I love playing around with it and seeing what I can do. I am just against covering a person up with makeup. I  am a firm believer that makeup is an inhancer, not a cover.

That is my message to you. You are beautiful natural. You don't need makeup to cover up your imperfections. Each person and their imperfections are beautiful, even more beautiful than they are when the cover themselves up with makeup.

Please stay natural and beautiful. Do not change yourself for ANYONE. That cute boy will leave you eventually, and there WILL be someone who loves your imperfections. Those will be the things that they love the most.

My team didn't really care, we were just excited to play. I am super sore and every inch of me hurts each time I movie or take a step. GREAT....

Sorry for the lame post today, but I PROMISE that tomorrow morning it will be something more exciting!

Thanks for reading my blog and please comment down below with suggestions and tags!!!

Power of Persuasion

Good Morning!

I am super tired as I just picked up my Lacrosse stick last night for the first time since school got out and the season ended. I have gotten recruited to play for Pipeline for a tournament this weekend as they had no subs. It s gonna be GREAT......not. I am so out of shape and am not ready to play 6 games in less that 30 hours. YAY.

The power of persuasion is something that most people fall for, myself included. When my sister walked up to me and asked me to play this weekend I immediately said no. Of course then she walked off muttering to herself "Great, even more time on the field, someone is gonna die." I contemplated the pros and cons of playing this weekend for some time and finally decided that is would be me to die if anyone... Just kidding, I am not going to die.

Persuasion is something that everyone needs to look out for, because the person might not be persuading you to play in a lacrosse game that weekend, but they may be persuading you to do something really bad, that has the potential to kill you or ruin your life. Be smart about what you say yes to. If your immediate reaction is no, and it could be very harmful to you, them stick to no. Don't get pressured into doing something that can ruin you. Much of the time the person or group that is trying to get you to do something will say you are a scardey cat etc. Stick to your beliefs and most of the time that person or group will look up to you because you didn't give in and stood your ground.

Remember, if you give in one the person or group will realize that you are persuaded easily, and they will make you do even more things that you don't want to!
