Hello There!!!
This summer has been a blast so far! I have had so much fun organizing my life. I wanted to share some of my tips for you so that you all can enjoy a very organized summer break!!! Summer is one of my favorite times of year and having an organized schedule and life can make it even better!!! Some ways that I organize my life are super simple skills or habits that are easy to learn.
1: Start by making small habits that are easy to stick to. These habits can be as simple as putting your phone in the same place every day or setting a routine for when you feed your pets. A simple change like this can impact your entire life!!!
2: Set a place for everything... and then put it back where it belongs. And when I say everything... I mean EVERYTHING! This way everything is in it's spot at all times and it will not get lost. A messy desk, closet, kitchen, or room can lead to chaos in your life. Simple habits like this can change the way you live and make you life a lot easier.
3: Using small compartments inside of big drawers or compartments instead of giant drawers by themselves will help a lot also!!! Instead of just throwing everything into one drawer, use small boxes or dividers to keep things separated and organized. You can get cheap drawer dividers and places like Target or Ikea. (Two of my favorite stores ever)
4: Never keep your trash. This is kind of a no brainer but I know so many people who leave wrappers and trash lying around. Throw your trash away once you are done with it. One way to help you do this is to put small trash cans all around your house, that way you never have to walk far to throw something away.
5: Keep an updated to do list or calendar all the time. My Lilly Pulitzer Planner has been such a help with keeping my family schedule, babysitting schedule, and friends schedules in order and making sure that nothing overlaps.
Last but not least!!!!
6: Make sure your system works for you!!! If you don't like the way you have your life or schedule organized then change it! If you don't like a system of organization then it won't help you organize. A happy organizer is a organized one!
XOXO
